UK Motorhome & Caravan Autumn Fair Report
With advanced weekend, camping tickets starting from as little as £40.00, it is no shock that thousands of visitors showed their face over the two days of the UK Motorhome and Caravan Autumn Fair. As motorhome insurance experts we just had to be there!
The main action kicked off on Saturday the 1st of September where over 100 trade stands presented their new and used motorhome offers. Amongst the vast amount of stalls were our insurance partner Grove & Dean (www.grove-dean.co.uk) who sponsored the show and were busy at the event offering competitive insurance quotes and handing out prizes to the many guests that enquired for quotes or simply said hello.
Exhibitions across the fair ranged from caravan accessories, outdoor clothing, camping equipment, gifts, gadgets and much more! There wasn’t anything you couldn’t buy or enquire about which meant that visitors could relax and enjoy the whole weekend. An added bonus, for those who chose to camp for the weekend, was the free entertainment on Friday and Saturday night; music from Bee Gees and Hot Chocolate tribute bands, magic by Paul Derek and comedy from up and coming entertainer, Dom Woodward.
This year saw the introduction of the Mobility Exhibition where mobility and disability aid exhibitors were able to show case their latest products. This presentation was on show inside the George Stephenson Exhibition Hall.
A great weekend was up for grabs for all the family as not only children (under 14) went free, they also had the chance to participate in the craft fair and kids-corner. Adding to this was the courtesy shuttle service, that was available both Saturday and Sunday, which offered a visit to historic Newark.
It’s recommended that you grab your tickets early for the next fair as the show was a sell out and you wouldn’t want to miss this event!
