Escape the winter in your motorhome
As the clocks go back and the mornings stay darker, it’s always good to know that there is an ‘escape’ from the rat race and the typical British weather out there in the shape on your motorhome.
Having a home on wheels means that whilst Britain may suffer, weather wise, in October and November, other parts of Europe can experience a much nicer climate. European insurance is widely available so it’s worth checking out sites like its Motorhome Insurance to ensure you have the correct level of cover.
Spain and the south of France average between 16° and 20° in October and November and could mean a nice little break away in relatively ‘good’ weather.
If staying in Britain is more your style, there are plenty of options – just don’t expect the weather! Camping parks and campsites dotted across our small island are on hand to offer activities come rain or shine! There are campsites with relaxing spa retreats or if you’re bringing the children along, indoor swimming pools and activity centres are always great choices.
